Traveling and Security

Traveling and Security Traveling and Security

Traveling and Security with your stuff.

This is a quick one this month. I travelled to Indonesia and thought to myself. How do I keep secure and safe with EVERYTHING! From bags, devices, passports, family, bank accounts. So I’m just going to go over a few things i had in place.

  • Passport. Easy keep it in an RFID blocker bag. Id recommend picking them up before you head to the air port. While your there grab a one for your bank card too. The Picture shows ones from www.containerstore.com. This is what they look like.
  • Bag Protection. You can typically get into any bag that has zips easily however  I recommend using secure luggage tags with some sort of numbers on them. When you have put them on. Take a photo of your numbers on your bag. So you’ll know if someone has pulled them off and replaced them and of course don’t take anything you don’t need.
  • Technology. Depends on what is on your device your taking. Be prepared to possibly have that devices storage device copied. So only take what you need.
  • Bank Accounts. I would say only take one bank card that you are willing to loose/stolen and only have a certain amount of funds in.
  • Family. Always look after your family and friends on holiday and have fun of course
